The Position

The IT Project Manager will lead the execution of strategic initiatives within our Information Security and Infrastructure service line. This role is critical in driving the modernization of legacy technologies, strengthening security posture, and improving infrastructure resiliency. The ideal candidate brings deep experience managing complex technology projects across network, security, and endpoint domains, and thrives in a hybrid project environment using both Agile and Waterfall practices.

This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering IT projects closely aligned with cybersecurity engineering, infrastructure operations, vendor partners, and PMO governance standards. The Project Manager will also contribute to maturing project delivery practices across the PMO while supporting firm-wide transformation goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of cybersecurity and infrastructure projects, including planning, execution, delivery, and closure.
  • Coordinate with technical leads and engineering resources across security operations, endpoint management, cloud, and network teams.
  • Oversee vendor engagements, including RFPs, contract negotiations, and deliverable validation for security or infrastructure solutions.
  • Lead project team meetings, Agile ceremonies (where applicable), and ensure continuous alignment with IT leadership and stakeholders.
  • Track progress using JIRA, Microsoft Project, and PMO dashboards; report risks, issues, and mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare and present project updates, dashboards, and status reports to IT leadership and Steering Committees.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering, business process analysis, and change readiness planning.
  • Ensure all project documentation and compliance records (SOWs, security reviews, asset tracking) are maintained per firm policy.
  • Collaborate with PMO to improve delivery methodologies, documentation standards, and cross-team coordination.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on IT project management experience across information security, infrastructure, or enterprise IT domains.
  • Strong experience in hybrid project delivery models, with the ability to operate in Agile, Waterfall, and iterative frameworks.
  • Experience managing infrastructure modernization efforts, endpoint deployments, network/security upgrades, or cloud transitions.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional technical teams and external vendor partners in a matrixed environment.
  • Demonstrated project planning, resource coordination, and risk/issue management capability.
  • Strong business analysis skills and ability to translate technical workstreams into project deliverables.
  • Highly proficient in JIRA, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft 365 Office Suite.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, including executive-level reporting.
  • Experience with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS), vulnerability management, or incident response projects.
  • Familiarity with endpoint defense tools (e.g., Cyberhaven, Cortex XDR, Threatlocker, etc), Azure SecOps, Active Directory & Azure AD, VDIs, SD-WAN, on-prem and cloud-based network and telephony architecture.
  • Experience with project budgets, cost tracking, and vendor SOW compliance
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Business, or related field; or equivalent experience 
  • PMP, A-CSM, or other project management certifications preferred
