Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Summary: Coordinates activities of repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment, and in maintenance of buildings, grounds, and utility systems of flow measurement facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Reviews job orders to determine work priorities.
· Performs or schedules repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment to ensure continuous production operations.
· Performs or directs maintenance activities on utility systems to provide continuous supply of heat, electric power, gas, or air required for operations.
· Inspects and maintains operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards.
· Keeps records of maintenance/repair for equipment including but not limited to cranes, forklifts, loaders, compressors, generators, heat exchangers, chillers and vehicles.
· Keeps records of maintenance/repair for general facility utilities.
· Confers with management, engineering, and quality control personnel to resolve maintenance problems and recommend measures to improve operations and conditions of machines and equipment.
· Assists in all aspects of system/test set up construction.
· Operates heavy equipment for the purpose of facility maintenance or for system/test related construction.
· Completes structural welding and fabrication projects based on verbal direction, written direction, or engineered drawings.
· Assists with flow measurement related functions such as assembly and disassembly of test areas and associated equipment.
