Job Title:        Senior Financial Analyst            

Location:        Conyers, GA             

 

What we are looking for:

 

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst who will perform detailed reporting and analysis which will help develop and implement routine financial reporting, variance analysis, consolidate information, analyze data, and help improve monthly processes. This supports Dover Food Retail as a whole, which is comprised of 4 US manufacturing divisions, one service division, and an international manufacturing division.

 

What you will be responsible for in this role:

 

  • Prepare weekly and monthly reporting packages which include: revenue analysis, cost comparisons, variance analysis, productivity review and analysis, executive reporting, and SGA review and analysis
  • Review monthly SG&A costs with departments heads throughout the organization and improve on current state
  • Review accounting entries and expenses for accuracy and recommend adjustments.
  • Develop relationships with department heads and improved forecasting and cost ownership
  • Develop and maintain financial models & templates in accordance with Dover requirements (e.g., monthly templates, bridges, capital expenditures, productivity, bookings and backlog) Assist in monthly updates to all financial statements
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis as necessary
  • Help drive Business Intelligence automation reports and adoption

 

 

What are the basic qualifications?

 

  • 5 or more years’ financial analyst experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics

 

What are the preferred qualifications?

 

  • Previous role in Operations or Cost Accounting preferred

 

To be a great fit for the role:

 

  • Strong knowledge and experience with FP&A, budgeting and forecasting
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and data-mining ability
  • Employee must be an experienced user of Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Employee must also be willing and capable of learning new systems and tools ( Longview, OneStream, Hyperion and Oracle)
  • Exceptional organization skills and ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Hyperion and Oracle BI experience a plus.
