Virginia Beach Psychiatric Center is seeking a Psychiatric Physician Assistant with experience in inpatient and intensive outpatient care for a full-time position.

 

We offer a dynamic, supportive work environment with a multidisciplinary team providing high-quality care to patients in our Adult Psychiatry and Chemical Dependency Treatment Program.

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will have experience in substance abuse treatment and a passion for delivering compassionate care.

 

Physician Assistant responsibilities will include:

• Conducting admission evaluations
• Providing daily patient care
• Treatment team meetings
• On call duties

Qualifications:

• PA degree from an accredited program (MPAS required)
• Board certification
• Licensure to practice in Virginia (or ability to obtain VA medical license)
• Experience in inpatient or IOP psychiatric care preferred
• Ability to meet all credentialing criteria for participating providers
