As a Pharmacy Technician II, you will assist in day-to-day pharmacy operations, addressing customer inquiries, preparing prescriptions, and facilitating medication management. You will be part of a rewarding environment that prioritizes patient care and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities: 
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries and resolving concerns. 
 Assist pharmacists in preparing prescriptions, including counting or pouring medications, labeling, and pricing. 
• Manage inventory by ordering, receiving, and stocking medications from suppliers. 
• Process new prescriptions and refill requests while ensuring HIPAA compliance. 
• Prepare insurance claims and verify payments for prescriptions. 
• Complete and maintain necessary training modules to ensure adherence to pharmacy protocols. 
• Perform housekeeping duties and organize pharmacy supplies as needed. 

 

 

Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications: 
• High school diploma or GED equivalent 
• Valid pharmacy technician license in good standing with the appropriate board of pharmacy 
• Eight months as a Technician I or equivalent experience 

 

 

Additional Qualifications: 
• Successful completion of a background check, including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint check 
• Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance
