Position summary:

We are looking for an IT Manager/Sr. Manager - Finance & Accounting Systems to play a pivotal role in the evolution and expansion of our business and transformational growth agenda. In this multifaceted position, you will work closely with our Finance & Accounting Leadership Teams to implement IT solutions and develop into a strategic business partner.

This role will be based out of our Concord, MA headquarters, the hub of our family-farmer owned manufacturing company. Immerse yourself in a dynamic workplace where innovation thrives and collaboration is key.

Our company in-office schedule is designed to maximize collaboration & relationship building balanced with flexibility and well-being with 3 days in office and Thursdays/Friday being remote, flex days.

What You'll Do:

• Collaborate with Finance & Accounting Leadership Teams to contribute to business strategy development, requirements gathering, and technology solution implementation aligned with business objectives and future aspirations.
• Evaluate current IT services and practices with the goal of implementing industry best practices to provide value and increase Finance/Accounting capabilities
• Develop/evaluate new project requests, selection and prioritization
• Lead the execution of complex projects and change management efforts to ensure they are on time, within budget, and to customer expectations.
• Resolve open issues with appropriate IT service area owners
• Responsible for customer satisfaction, service level agreements and IT improvement plans
• Oversee the modernization and migration of Welch's legacy systems environment as part of a cloud first strategy
• Additional duties & responsibilities as needed to support the business and IT transformation

Who You Are:

• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability and desire to engage with all functions across the Enterprise to understand and articulate the business requirements as well as the IT capabilities
• Knowledge of Project Management standards and methodology
• Ability to influence and lead change across the enterprise at all levels of the organization
• Demonstrated broad knowledge of major aspects of IT including project management, systems development, systems analysis and design, and budget administration; with broad exposure and practical experience in IT management
• Knowledge of business theory, business processes, management, budgeting, and business office operations
• Promotes and fosters a positive work environment by building relationships across the organization and especially within the IT Team

What You'll Need:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, Business, or related field
• 5+ years of progressive IT/Finance experience.
• 5+ years of experience implementing and managing Oracle/SAP/Infor/Workday ERP Systems, or similar Tier 1 systems.
• Techno-Functional knowledge of Finance, Procurement, Item Management, Demand Planning, Receiving, Supplier Quality, etc.
• IT management experience in a Manufacturing environment demonstrating a proven project and process management skillset
• Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level
• Strategy and planning: Ability to set goals and lead cross-functional team to execute objectives throughout the year.
• Excellent organizational, time management and negotiating skills
• Builds and retains relationships with business and technology colleagues
• Shows consistent and appropriate responsiveness to both urgent and non-critical matters
• Desire to learn new skills including: RPA, AI, Machine Learning & Analytics
