A qualified candidate will possess an advanced degree in literacy, English, humanities, education, or a related field, demonstrating a deep understanding of literacy development alongside subjects such as literature, history, culture, and philosophy. This role requires expertise in designing and delivering differentiated instruction, developing curricula aligned with state or national standards, and employing digital tools to enhance the learning experience. Additionally, the candidate must be skilled in assessing student progress through data analysis, effective in collaborating and communicating with colleagues, students, and families, and committed to culturally responsive teaching practices that promote equity and inclusion.
