The Commercial Sales Business is a critical component of our sales engine, focused on landing today’s exciting growth companies (<1K FTE) and expanding Miro’s footprint within our future enterprises. About the Role
As the Head of EMEA Commercial Sales, you live and breathe thinking about strategies to: shorten sales cycles and increase win rates, increase efficiency in the sales process, add value to customer interactions, run pipe gen campaigns at scale, monetize your TAM, and keep your team motivated and continually developed… to name a few. You love brainstorming revenue-generating ideas, assessing their opportunities and risks, and collaborating with your direct and cross-functional team to execute on them. Your non-negotiables are a tight forecasting and pipeline management process, every effort at best-in-class deal execution, learning & growing… and of course, exceeding quota while doing so. This is a high-growth area of the business and an incredible opportunity to scale the business further.
What you’ll do
- Hire, coach & lead a team of leaders in a second-line role to help land and expand our clients up to 1K employees. Mentor ICs who are in their first and second closing roles.
- Help drive our overall go-to-market strategy for our Commercial Segment.
- Build a program to generate a consistent pipeline from our user base and by breaking into other lines of business within our target accounts.
- Build a strong focus on enablement of key leadership (L1s) and sales skills (ICs).
- Maintain and improve on a healthy operating rhythm consisting of deal reviews, forecast meetings, pipe gen cadence, and professional development.
- Apply a data-driven approach and focus on KPIs to drive your business forward.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to build monetization programs to capture ARR and drive efficiencies + scale in the business.
- Be a key component in ensuring we have accurate data in our CRM to drive the strategy for our future growth.
- Achieve monthly/quarterly quotas of pipeline and closed business.
What you’ll need
- 2+ years of management experience (and preferably at least one year of second-line manager experience) at a high-growth Enterprise SaaS organization
- 5+ years in a closing role within a SaaS or Tech organization
- Strong prospecting and territory planning in a high-velocity/transactional sales environment
- Strong experience with driving go-to-market strategy and building process
- History of being a top performer with a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas
- Excellent ability to identify and resolve problems in the sales process
- Excellent communication skills, ability to form relationships and work cross-functionally
- You have the ability to grow rapport and relationships with potential clients & your team
