Nightwing is seeking a highly motivated Systems Administrator to join a mature program in the Sterling VA location. The qualified Systems Administrator will support a very dynamic program in a world-class operations facility and must have a broad range of experience supporting mission critical networks and computer systems.

Responsibilities
Assist with the design, implementation, and maintenance of an organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, VMs, networks, and data storage solutions
Provide advanced technical support and guidance for system-related issues, ensuring high performance, security, and availability of IT systems
Coordinate and manage IT projects, including system upgrades, and network improvements ensuring projects are delivered on time
Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures, ensuring that all IT systems comply with industry regulations and organizational policies
Required Skills
5+ years’ experience in troubleshooting complex network problems
5+ years’ experience in communicating with customer representatives in a variety of forums, in both written and spoken form, regarding technical subjects
5+ years of experience in IT, cybersecurity, and/or network/systems administration
Proficiency experience with Red Hat Linux (RHEL) workstations and servers, including installation, configuration, administration and troubleshooting
Working knowledge of an orchestration and automation tool such as Ansible, Salt, Puppet, Chef, etc.
Ability to optimize, secure, and manage servers to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability
Knowledge of advanced features such as virtualization, automation, and patch management with the ability to integrate these systems to support organizational requirements
Experience with administering and managing user and system accounts on Linux distributions
Ability to manage serves, workstations, users, identity policies, etc. using FreeIPA
Hands on experience with Physical rack installations, troubleshooting, and system integration
