💡 The team:

We are the Critical Infrastructure team, an integral group responsible for managing the R&D of some of Genetec’s largest projects, such as airport security. Our commitment is to quality in our work and service throughout the world. You will collaborate closely with your colleagues to help provide dynamic, adapted solutions to our international customers within sensitive site industries.

Technical Stack:

• Object-oriented programming in C# (.NET 4.6, WPF)
• REST Web services with Web API
• Source code management: TFS, GIT
• Cloud technologies: Azure
• Database: SQL Server

🔎 What your day will look like:

• Design innovative and user-friendly interfaces
• Analyze and architect new object-oriented product features in various applications
• Develop and maintain relational databases
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of effective, accessible, user-friendly, and intuitive solutions
• Maintain and support the future evolution of existing tools
• Design, implement, and perform unit testing of distributed, fault-tolerant applications
• Assist and support clients of different applications made by the team

• Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or equivalent experience
• Prior experience in software development
• Ability to collaborate and foster communication internally
• Good understanding of analytical concepts
• Professional working level of English and French

💥 Technical expertise:

• Object-oriented programming in C#

💎 Even better if you have these assets:

• Experience with JavaScript frameworks: AngularJS, Kendo UI, Knockout, jQuery
• Familiarity with the WPF programming model and the Model-View-View-Model (MVVM) pattern
• Cloud technologies: Azure
• Web technologies: AngularJS, MVC, JSON, AJAX, HTML5
• Basic knowledge of Entity Framework
