Audit & Assurance Quality & Transformation is part of the National Office in Deloitte. We are responsible for supporting our engagement teams and partners by answering difficult technical questions as well as transforming our audit business and deploying new tools and technology while maintaining our position as number 1 on Audit Quality.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and highly motivated individual to join our team as a specialist in audit of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) matters. As a vital member of our audit technical department, you will play a pivotal role in evaluating and enhancing and deploying our ESG-related practices and procedures.

In this role, you will make an impact by:

• ESG Compliance and Assessment:
  • You will work closely with our Assurance Offerings to develop and implement audit plans and methodologies to evaluate ESG risks and opportunities across various operational areas.
• Collaboration and Communication:
  • You will collaborate cross-functionally with different departments, including Assurance Offerings, Quality, Monitoring & Risks and Corporate Reporting to understand ESG initiatives and integrate findings into audit processes.
  • You will communicate audit results and recommendations effectively to stakeholders at all levels, fostering awareness and understanding of ESG ways of working and their impact on business operations.
• Continuous Improvement:
  • You will stay abreast of evolving ESG regulations, standards, and industry trends to ensure audits remain relevant and aligned with leading practices.
  • You will identify opportunities for enhancing ESG performance, implementing corrective actions, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our organization's sustainability efforts.

What you bring to the team:

• You are curious to learn and collaborate
• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, sustainability, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certifications is a plus.
• You are experienced in auditing.
• You are passionate about sustainability and making a positive impact on the world.
• You are an innovative thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
