Role and Responsibilities:
The Senior Technical Recruiter will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and securing top technical talent with active security clearances for various DoD programs and contracts. This role requires a deep understanding of the cleared talent market, technical roles, and federal contracting requirements. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of candidate experience and compliance.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in technical recruiting, with at least 3 years focused on recruiting cleared technical talent for DoD contracts.
- Clearance Knowledge: Familiarity with the clearance process, including understanding of eQIP, polygraph requirements, and clearance adjudication timelines.
- Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of technical roles and skills, including software development, network engineering, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity.
- Tools: Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS, we use Greenhouse), sourcing tools, and professional networking platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Certifications: AIRS certification, CIR, or similar recruiting certifications are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a federal contracting environment or with a DoD prime contractor.
- Strong network within the cleared talent community.
- Knowledge of compensation structures and employment law related to federal contracts.
