Veterinarian, Urgent Care and Wellness Full Time Smith Veterinary Hospital About You This is a fantastic opportunity for a general practice veterinarian eager to tackle more complex cases, or an emergency veterinarian seeking a more predictable schedule and manageable workload. In this role, you'll make a meaningful difference in the lives of your patients, clients, and colleagues! From delivering reliable walk-in, outpatient care for pets with non-life-threatening conditions that still need to be seen by a veterinarian as soon as possible. Experience & Skills Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required.

State Veterinary Board License and must be in good standing for the state in which they intend to be hired, prior to their start date.

Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible.

Our hospital offers a walk in service and has an established client base. We pride ourselves on teamwork and collaboration. The Urgent Care department has been designed to meet a key need in our community and hospital. We aim to provide efficient, compassionate care to patients with non-critical conditions so that they receive great care without the wait! In the Urgent Care department, we offer walk-ins and appointments for varies conditions.  We stay in close contact with the primary veterinarians to ensure those patients return for ongoing care with their family vet.
