Quality Analyst

Key Purpose

The ideal candidate will be able to communicate complicated, technical issues in a manner that is understandable and useful for all stakeholders. The candidate must be proactive, organized, responsible, and work well with a fast-paced group.

Areas of responsibility may include but not limited to

• Participate in agile design sessions where requirements are derived
• Review requirements with Peers, Test Manager, and Business Analyst
• Derive test cases from business requirements and technical specs
• Analyze test requirements using proven test techniques
• Create, manage, and maintain test matrices
• Create, manage, and maintain test cases covering functional and non-functional requirements
• Provide estimates for completing test cases and execution
• Assist in preparing or acquiring data for test cases
• Maintain Test Data as test requirements change
• Execute all test cases within agreed upon times
• Ensure test status results are properly documented and tracked and software defects are reported clearly
• Sign off on SIT test results as appropriate
• Assist in maintaining a repository of regression test cases
• Responsible for assisting prod support and overseeing any bugs that get into production
• Ensure that the Vitality Group work fits into the broader market picture and meets UX expectations, they’ll bring in-depth product and business knowledge as an input to their testing and signoff

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent hands-on experience
• At least 3 years’ experience in the industry
