Key Purpose
The ideal candidate will be able to communicate complicated, technical issues in a manner that is understandable and useful for all stakeholders. The candidate must be proactive, organized, responsible, and work well with a fast-paced group.
Areas of responsibility may include but not limited to
- Participate in agile design sessions where requirements are derived
- Review requirements with Peers, Test Manager, and Business Analyst
- Derive test cases from business requirements and technical specs
- Analyze test requirements using proven test techniques
- Create, manage, and maintain test matrices
- Create, manage, and maintain test cases covering functional and non-functional requirements
- Provide estimates for completing test cases and execution
- Assist in preparing or acquiring data for test cases
- Maintain Test Data as test requirements change
- Execute all test cases within agreed upon times
- Ensure test status results are properly documented and tracked and software defects are reported clearly
- Sign off on SIT test results as appropriate
- Assist in maintaining a repository of regression test cases
- Responsible for assisting prod support and overseeing any bugs that get into production
- Ensure that the Vitality Group work fits into the broader market picture and meets UX expectations, they’ll bring in-depth product and business knowledge as an input to their testing and signoff

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent hands-on experience
- At least 3 years’ experience in the industry
Knowledge:
- Processes: SDLC (strong functional knowledge of agile development methodology)
- Industry Standard Testing Methodologies and best practices
- ITIL proc
