Royal Caribbean Group’s Workplace Solutions Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Senior Manager, Facilities Management reporting to the Facilities Management Director.

 

This role will be based in our Miramar, Florida office.

 

Position Summary:

 

This position is responsible for managing South Florida facilities, its operations and activities to ensure reliable, cost competitive services, as well as a safe and comfortable environment, ensuring compliance with legal/environmental regulations, and (2) real estate use and allocation for all US facilities. The position reports to the Director of Facilities Management.

• Updates, measures and drives SOPs and processes
• Responsible for facilities planning, coordination of all teams’ daily tasks and creating, owning and executing to a daily and weekly plan of activities
• Organizes and leads team, provides direction and coaching
• Self-starter, able to juggle various requests and tasks
• Responsible for creating and driving KPIs for the Workplace Solutions properties
• Responsible for building maintenance, equipment, vendors and service contracts for all South Florida sites supporting over 2,500 employees.
• Ensuring that SLAs are being met and providing corrective measures for vendors who are not meeting their SLAs
• Manages (1) Site Manager for the North Properties (Weston, Miramar, Studios/Housing at FIU).
• Manage (1) Site Manager for South Properties (1050, 1080, New HQ, Tech Hub).

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

• Responsible for buildings and grounds, of all building systems, including HVAC systems, Lighting, Life Safety Systems, plumbing, repairs to workstations/carpet/walls, Landscaping, janitorial, etc.
• Receive, review and approve quotes for repairs and maintenance, as well as approval of invoices for those services.
• Manage vending machines and coffee service. 
• Manage 2000+ employee requests and inquiries annually related to their work environment.
• Manage SRMs for the Facilities Department.
• Generate weekly status, project, and budget reports.
• Manages corporate recycling and re-use program.
• Manages and insures compliance of corporate ergonomic standards.
• Assist Purchasing staff in the bidding, negotiating and contract management of all Facilities related suppliers.

 

Space utilization / project manager (all locations):

 

• Produce and manage all reconfiguration and construction projects from the first proposal to the final set of as built plans; work with Facilities team to manage the schedule of vendors and furniture to ensure project is completed on time, and conduct punch list at the completion of the project to remedy any items needing attention.
