How you will make history here…
- Lead and manage the entire range of Food Safety & Quality programs, as defined in the Campbell Snacks and Campbells Enterprise Food Safety and Quality Policies.
- Manage a set of cross functional relationships within a multi-facility complex to influence site leadership on alignment of Quality strategies, Quality annual objectives, and Plant project plans.
- Coordinate and deploy Quality Assurance programs across functional areas and influence plant leadership with food safety and quality best practices.
What you will do…
- 40% - Develop, drive, and continually improve a comprehensive food safety & quality program as defined by the Campbell's Snacks and Enterprise Food Safety and Quality Policies.
- 20% - Drive process improvement initiatives through quality & sanitation team, C-Snacks quality, R&D, and site leadership.
- 20% - Manage and drive key initiatives supporting the 'Elevate the consumer experience' strategy; including consumer complaints, continuous improvement projects, and SPC and capability improvements.
- 10% - Manage department and team by setting clear goals & objectives, individual development plans and providing a balance of coaching, empowerment, direction, and mentoring.
- 10% - Support plant initiatives across Safety, People, Quality, Delivery, and Cost
- Response to new or changes in regulations on specifications, procedures, quality, and implications where utilized in a range of finished product.
- Trouble shooting quality issues across the varied supply chains for ingredients, packaging, materials, and finished products supplied (examples; mixed labels, allergen risk management, equipment risk management, container nonconformance).
Who you will work with…
- You will have a team of 8 individuals within Quality Assurance and Sanitation who report directly to you
- You will have a team of 50-80 individuals throughout the team that you will lead
- Additionally, you will lead cross functional teams
What you bring to the table… (Must Have)
- Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of food industry quality plant/systems experience with demonstrated achievement in Quality leadership
- Experience in Continuous Improvement
- Expert abilities and decision quality in Food Safety, Regulatory, and Quality Systems and their application within food processing. Facilitate and/or direct resolution to issues as it relates to food safety and quality.
- Expert knowledge in Sanitation and GMP Practices, familiarity with Pest Control programs and techniques
- Knowledge of Quality Standards, and Quality Policies, with skills and ability to execute against requirements.
- Knowledge and general business acumen to support and influence Manufacturing, including best practices and innovative technologies.
- Knowledgeable in industry Food Safety/Quality audit practices, and skilled in adapting to achieve business best practices.
- Capable of engaging other business
