JOB SUMMARY
Position will serve as a senior-level coordinator within the GME program, providing strategic direction and oversight for the successful administration and coordination of one or more complex accredited/non-accredited residency/fellowship programs at UT Southwestern Medical Center. This position requires a high level of autonomy and expertise, with the GME Coordinator III who will work closely with the Program Director to develop and implement program strategy and collaborate on all aspects of program operations. Position plays a pivotal role as a mentor and trusted resource for GME Program Coordinators I and II, while also driving the development and execution of innovative initiatives and strategic plans to enhance the GME program's success. This role requires advanced knowledge, skills, and experience in all aspects of GME program administration and the ability to make independent decisions and exercise sound judgment in complex situations.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

Required

Education
Bachelor's Degree degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field required
Associate's Degree plus 3 additional years of direct experience may be accepted

Experience
4 years of direct experience as the primary GME program coordinator of an ACGME-accredited residency-fellowship program(s)
May be required to submit to a federal background investigation.

JOB DUTIES

Leads the strategic planning and development of the GME program(s), in collaboration with the Program Director, ensuring alignment with institutional and departmental goals.
Oversees all aspects of program operations, including resident recruitment, selection, onboarding, and the overall educational experience.
Leads the development and implementation of innovative educational strategies and program enhancements to improve resident learning and overall program quality.
Oversees
