What you'll do

We're looking for a Senior iOS Developer to lead the technical direction of Clara’s iOS apps and help shape the future of our mobile platform across Latin America. As a senior member of the Mobile Engineering – iOS team, you'll drive architecture decisions, set coding standards, and mentor high-performing developers as we scale to serve thousands of users.

In this role, you will:

• Define and own the long-term architecture of Clara’s iOS applications.

• Lead the design and implementation of advanced features using Swift, SwiftUI, and Combine.

• Set and uphold technical standards across the iOS team to ensure performance, modularity, and maintainability.

• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to shape seamless, intuitive user experiences.

• Guide and mentor engineers to support their technical growth.

• Foster a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous learning.

Who you are

We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

Must haves

• 7+ years of professional experience in iOS development, including at least 2 years in a technical leadership role.

• Deep expertise with Swift, SwiftUI, Combine, and Xcode.

• Strong grasp of scalable architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, VIPER, etc.).

• Experience with CI/CD, performance tuning, and building modular codebases.

• Working proficiency in English and Spanish.

• Proven ability to mentor other developers and uphold technical quality across a team.

Nice to haves

• Background in fintech or working in high-growth startups.

• Familiarity with test automation and performance profiling for iOS.

• Interest in AI tools to enhance development workflows.

• Basic proficiency in Portuguese or a desire to learn.
