Responsibilities
Work on the entire system testing process, including analysis, design, executing test plans and cases, and conduct defect tracking to deliver innovative and high-quality core product features to the TikTok App.
Develop, maintain, and execute software quality assurance test requirements, plans, scenarios, cases, and scripts starting at the design phase through the test phase for assigned ongoing sustainment and project work.
Facilitate successful release of TikTok App features and enhancements from development to production through effective testing delivering continuous quality at speed.
Develop automation, new features, and regression test cases, and build CI/CD related work and track, analyze, and conduct troubleshooting via online and offline channels.
Participate in requirements and design reviews and product planning sessions to proactively validate appropriate applicability, usability, and testability.
Review functional and technical specifications for accuracy, feasibility, testability, and clarity, and utilize and follow current test management standards and practices.
Perform necessary manual validation across platforms and create thorough test modules.
Work closely with developers, product, and program managers to test and validate new features.
Validate changes and perform targeted regression test against releases and identify, document, and track bugs through resolution.
Mentor junior-level engineers and interns.

Qualifications

Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or a related field, and 4 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or a related field, and 6 years of post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 4 years of experience in each of the following:
Performing software testing including the following: Verification, validation, requirement gathering, test strategy, test methodologies, functional testing, unit testing, regression testing, stress testing, and user acceptance testing;
Designing, writing, and executing automation in script or macro to reduce the time of testing and to automate the process;
Identifying, recording, resolving, and documenting software bugs, including tracking bugs and test metrics; and
Building and testing software solutions using Agile methodology and DevOps development practices.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: Domestic and International travel up to 50% required.

Salary Range: $194875 - $324000 per year
