Your Team

As a Vice President, Product Owner in US Business Data Technology, you will partner with product owners, tech leads, designers, engineers, data scientists and delivery professionals to drive delivery of solutions that support business intelligence, analytics, data science and data driven decision making.  You will define a roadmap for a product or suite of related products collaborating with business functions, service teams and technology teams, identifying business outcomes and solutions that deliver on the product strategy to solve sophisticated business problems, deploy innovative products, services and experiences to delight our customers! As an expert in product and analytical experience, you will bring excellent problem solving, communication and teamwork skills, along with agile ways of working, strong business insight, an inclusive leadership attitude and a continuous learning focus to all that you do.

Here is What You Can Expect on a Typical Day

  • Create and maintain an ongoing product roadmap by working with business and technology stakeholders to identify, sequence, and prioritize enhancement requests

  • Ensure alignment of product features and stories, i.e., review, give feedback, and prioritize user stories in line with vision

  • Coordinate, plan and lead UAT sessions for stakeholders

  • Communicate frequently with business and technology stakeholders to ensure engagement and buy-in on decisions and proposed solutions

  • Lead sprint and release plans together with the Scrum Master and organizational technology teams

  • Architect development solutions, designing end-to-end data solutions that are aligned with strategy, are scalable, efficient and secure

  • Work with Tech Lead to ensure build of modular & reusable solutions

  • Lead discussions and decisions around technology options, support building product teams for execution and own the responsibility for the product backlog

  • Continuous learning to stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices

The Skills & Expertise You Bring  

  • Bachelor of Computer Science or Engineering; Analytics; or experience in related fields

  • Experience in working with DevOps automation tools & practices; Knowledge of full software development life cycle (SDLC) 

  • Lead and effectively leverage diverse ideas, experiences, thoughts, and perspectives to the benefit of the organization   

  • Expert knowledge of business concepts tools and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business 

  • Ability to learn new skills and knowledge on an on-going basis through self-initiative and tackling challenges 

  • Excellent problem solving, communication and collaboration skills; enjoy learning new skills

  • Understand data infrastructure, data pipelines, ETL processes, and cloud-based data platforms (preferably AWS, Microsoft Fabric a plus)

  • Expertise with several of the following: 

    • Effective Communication: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

    • Decision-Making & Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.

    • Interpersonal Relationships: Knowledge of the techniques and the ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.

    • Financial/Business Acumen: Strong Knowledge of financial and/or business concepts, tools and processes and how financial metrics are used to mo
