Crestwood School District Athletic Department Announces the following COACHING VACANCY:

Assistant Coach Girls Swim

If hired, the coach will perform his/her duties and responsibilities under the direct supervision of the Athletic Director, in compliance with the policies established by the Crestwood Board of Education and the MHSAA. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain all requirements as established by the MHSAA
• Follow all Crestwood School District Policies as applied by the Board of Education
• Follow all Crestwood School District Administrative Guidelines
• Maintain a high level of respect, collegiality, and awareness of the needs of all student-athletes and the community
• Maintain a system of in-season and off-season training and growth programs for student-athletes
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and demeanor representative of the Crestwood School District
• Educate, coach, and mentor student-athletes
• Maintain a system of checks and balances on student-athlete attendance, grades, and demeanor in school
• Maintain a system of checks and balances on student-athlete representation of the Crestwood School District outside of school activities
• Support students in the attainment of scholarship opportunities
• Maintain a system of fundraising to support the growth of the programs
• Involve student-athletes in community service to their community
• Develop a competitive program 

Qualifications:

• Five or more years of coaching experience
• Positive and supportive demeanor
• A deep understanding of the community of student-athletes we serve at the Crestwood School District
• Clear and concise communication skills
• Understanding of off-season programming
• Understanding of strength and conditioning
• Ability to delegate and take constructive feedback
• Basic knowledge of first aid
• Good character with the ability to serve as a positive role model to student-athletes
• Willingness to work cooperatively in all aspects of the interscholastic athletic program
