Job Description Summary

This ideal candidate will provide temporary support for the research objectives of Oral Surgery and Pharmacology department at Penn Dental Medicine. The desired applicant will conduct basic experiments in the lab of Katherine Theken, Pharm.D., Ph.D. under close supervision. They will assist in performing laboratory experiments and clinical studies with the expectation of compiling and analyzing results.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform lab experiments using standard techniques.
  • Assist clinical research coordinator in data collection.
  • Analyze, organize, and summarize results of experiments.
  • Participate in weekly journal clubs and lab meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science and 0 to 1 year of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
