Job Description

We have an immediate opportunity for a ​1st Shift Team Coordinator ​to join us at our diverse team in Loves Park, IL.   .  Facilitate communication from supervision/planning to the production team.  Coordinate efforts to meet the capacity plan, quality targets and scheduled ship dates on customer orders.  Must have good oral and written communication skills and be able to keep matters confidential.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. 

• Conduct daily shift meetings/RCPS activities.
• Communicate team problems encountered with Manufacturing Engineer assigned to the area.
• Report status of production orders and daily shipping capabilities and initiate actions to ensure targets are met. 
• Perform SAP/ME, and PDC transactions as required.
• Coordinate and prioritize activities across the organization- i.e. staffing to meet demands, correcting audit findings, etc.
• Communicate with other shifts to ensure a smooth transition from one shift to another.
• Maintain orderly, clean, and organized work areas according to 5S standards and cleaning plan.
• Able to motivate teams toward continuous improvement and reaching hourly goals.
• Responsible for coaching colleagues on application of standards and to increase skills.
• Participate in department goal setting and continuous improvement discussions.
• Assure proper cross training is taking place not only in current department, but across the business. 
• Uphold strict compliance with all Danfoss and production floor policies.
