Sr. Financial Analyst, GTM FP&A

The Sr. Financial Analyst, GTM FP&A will be a key member of the Go-To-Market Finance team. Reporting to Senior Manager Finance, they will own Global Marketing headcount management (with support from other team members). They will support key deliverables like annual planning, global bookings forecast, BvA analysis, monthly/quarterly financial reporting and ad hoc analysis of the business. They will also be the finance business partner to the Sales Operations and Sales Enablement organizations. From day one, this role and their work will have high visibility and impact to the senior management at Rubrik.
This position will be based in Palo Alto, California and will require in-office attendance 3 days a week.
Responsibilities
- Own global Marketing headcount management, including maintaining an accurate source of truth for actuals & forecast. Reporting & inputting correct forecast into financial systems
- Manage the Marketing accrual process. Ensure activities/services performed in month are either paid or need to be accounted for
- Explain Marketing expense variances between budget versus actuals
- Support global Marketing forecast process including in quarter, annual, and multiyear planning
- Create monthly reporting for distribution to Senior Management
- Analyze Marketing contributed pipeline to ultimately increase sales performance
- Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis for senior management as needed to review and improve business and financial performance
Essential Skills & Experience
- 3-5 years work experience in FP&A department
- Advanced Excel & Google Sheets skills
- Excellent analytical and written communication skills
- Ability to work well in cross-functional teams and build strong working relationship with key partners
- Demonstrated abilities to prioritize and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines with efficiency and accuracy
It is helpful, but not required to have
- Experience with Adaptive Insights, NetSuite, Salesforce, Tableau, Workday, Coupa
- Prior experience managing headcount and conducting BvA calls (Budget vs Actual)

The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the role based on U.S. location.
