Capital One’s Brand Digital Enterprise Strategy team is looking for a Principal Associate who can help to develop go-to-market strategies and marketing programs that will drive awareness and enhanced perception of our robust digital offerings. They will leverage their expertise in product marketing to forge relationships, create buy-in and develop a shared agenda with partner stakeholders. They are champions and  can define persona and messaging strategy across disciplines - championing the customer at every stage along the way. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Be a subject matter expert on Capital One’s enterprise digital tools and experiences, such as our mobile app features, digital payment solutions, and more.

  • Develop go-to-market strategies for existing and emerging digital tools and execute launch marketing campaigns across multiple channels (both owned and paid).

  • Partner with product teams to identify campaign growth opportunities and optimizations.

  • Develop robust learning agendas and test plans to continually optimize campaigns and creative assets.

  • Develop a detailed understanding of our target audience, user journeys, use cases, and marketing channels to inform marketing strategy and asset development.

  • Synthesize performance data, research insights, marketing trends, competitive landscape, and macro external factors to identify new strategic recommendations to improve results.

  • Identify opportunities to develop relevant marketing assets, managing the entire process from ideation to creative briefing and production with external agencies. 

  • Lean into brand campaigns, SEO, and content development to help drive awareness and adoption of our digital tools and features. 

  • Showcase learnings and successes through well-refined communication and presentation skills.

  • Work proactively in an agile environment and identify when to work outside the process in whitespace.

  • Serve as key liaison for and collaborate with cross-functional teams including partners from: Product Management, Performance Marketing, Business/Data Analytics, Tech, Legal, Brand

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Military experience

  • At least 4 years of multi-channel marketing experience 

  • At least 3 years of experience in planning, execution, and analysis of marketing programs

  • At least 3 years of experience managing creative processes and working with creative teams 


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in a product marketing role

  • 2+ years of experience in financial services

  • 4+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment

  • 4+ years of experience in Brand strategy
