How you make a difference
The Recovery and Reentry Services Manager oversees and coordinates Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) and reentry services across assigned facilities while ensuring programs operate effectively and in compliance with laws and policies. They lead program development, expansion, and implementation while supervising clinical and operational staff involved in providing MAT and related services. The role includes directing clinical practice, ensuring proper assessment and medication protocols, and overseeing training and professional development for medical and behavioral health teams. They manage relationships with subcontracted community agencies and act as a liaison with facility administration and community partners to support reentry success. The manager also monitors regulatory compliance, develops corrective action plans, and ensures contract and funding source requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee, manage, and coordinate MAT and reentry services across assigned facilities, ensuring effective collaboration with medical, mental health, and security teams.
Implement and expand MAT programs, including staffing, program design, and adherence to protocols for assessment, monitoring, and medication.
Provide clinical supervision, staff development, and training for medical and behavioral health professionals.
Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations, develop corrective action plans, and monitor contract and funding requirements.
Serve as a liaison with facility leadership, subcontracted agencies, and community partners to support community linkage and reentry initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements
EDUCATION
Minimum of independent licensure with a Master’s in clinical/counseling psychology, social work, or public health
Or Registered Nurse (RN) with graduation from an accredited nursing school
EXPERIENCE
Experience coordinating and administering behavioral health or medical service delivery systems
Experience with integrated behavioral health/medical programming
Experience with management, supervision, peer review, data collection, and quality assurance
Experience in correctional healthcare with multiple stakeholders
