Overview

We are currently looking for a Field Technician to support our new client in Bucharest (Business Garden) and monitor around 300 hundred devices. Our new colleague will be responsible for the on-site integration of company and multi-vendor systems solutions, which may include hardware, software and networking products as well as operating systems.  

Job Responsibilities Include:

• On-site and/or remote installation, implementation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting and/or repair of desktops, notebooks, printers, and associated peripherals.

• Performing advanced troubleshooting techniques to address complex IT technical issues

• Serves as company liaison with client on administrative and technical matters. 

• Coordinating with on-site facilities and technical contacts regarding readiness and delivery issues.

• Interprets clients’ needs and clarifies if the responsibility for problem resolution falls to sales personnel, client support representatives or engineers.

• Identifying risks and developing solutions for client tasks.
• Making recommendations for process improvements within the department.
• Preparing documentation to record and track issue resolutions.
• Serving as escalation and issue resolution point for onsite technicians.
• Distributing workload among team members.
• Providing team leadership and mentoring. 

Key Skills:

• 2 years’ experience supporting end-users directly (and/or remotely) with issues regarding desktops, laptops, printers etc.
• Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, hardware, software, networking, and mobile devices with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Analytical thinker who can assess situations quickly and implement effective solutions.
• Windows 365 and networking advanced knowledge (servers, cables, switches, disk-rays, alarms).
• Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Remedy).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with a focus on service quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
• Advanced English skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills, professional demeanor and commitment to delivering exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Passion to lead, coach, and motivate a team of technicians while fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture, while also being able to pass on knowledge or explain things in a clear manner and to delegate tasks.
• Availability to work fully on-site from the client’s office.

Preferred Skills:

• Degree in IT or Computer Science.
• CCNA, CompTIA A+, Network+ or ITIL or other relevant certification.
• Team Leader or Supervisor experience.
• Experience working in a multinational company and collaborating with people from different cultures.
• Medium Spanish skills (nice to have).
