As the Manager of Core Systems Configuration, you will be responsible for growing the maturity of your team and ensuring alignment with IT’s mission and Premera’s vision to make healthcare work better. This pivotal role involves overseeing the setup, maintenance, and optimization of our core systems, particularly the FACETS platform, to ensure seamless operations and exceptional customer experiences.
This is a hybrid role located on our campus in Mountlake Terrace, WA.
What you’ll do:
As a People Manager, provide coaching, mentoring, and feedback to team members. Lead and guide a team of configuration analysts, set priorities, delegate tasks, and ensure resources are available.
Facilitate development and training to grow employees to enhance their skills and career goals. Conduct performance reviews and address performance issues.
Maintain understanding of TriZetto Facets functionality, care management platform JIVA, and various other systems.
Ensure the accurate and timely implementation of critical information, such as provider data, benefits, pricing, and claims processing rules.
Align configuration strategies with Premera’s mission and vision to ensure teams deliver value that meets strategic goals and complies with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Lead and manage projects related to configuration implementation, enhancements, and upgrades; guide the implementation of new features, modules, and integrations.
Partner with leadership to develop OKRs, business cases and configuration strategies; communicate expectations with success measures for teams and partners.
Promote cross-functional team collaboration and manage incident management.
Develop a strong collaborative working partnership with business partners, IT Product Management, Engineering Managers, Architecture, and technology teams.
What you’ll bring:
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
(5) years of people management experience. May also consider internal candidates who have successfully demonstrated strong leadership skills if they possess less than (5) years of people management experience.
(3) years of experience in configuration or IT system development.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with FACETS system and its various modules.
Experience working in or leading an IT delivery team.
Experience managing complex projects.
Experience working in a large-scale enterprise environment with diverse stakeholders.
