About The Team
The Home Entertainment team has been dubbed “Collectibles” because we are going against the grain of the rest of the industry! Our goal is to make our consumer packaged media releases even more collectible! The Operations team within the Collectibles team ensures our creative visions become a reality. Staying Anime fan-focused, we strive for the highest quality releases in the industry where it’s all about giving the Anime Collector fans what they want!)
About Our Operations and Print Production Manager:
The Operations and Print Production Manager is responsible for the end-to-end planning and execution of all new release consumer packaged media on DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K UHD formats including special and standard packaging builds, manufacturing, inventory control, and executive reporting, all while staying anime fan focused in everything this role requires.
About You:
To be a strong fit for this position, you should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Product Development Operations, Print Production, Supply Chain Operations, or a related field.
You should also have experience in building Home Entertainment products or consumer packaged goods (CPG) and have solid understanding of print production, including finishes, stock, and raw materials. Additionally, you should have a high proficiency in MS Excel and Google Suite, be self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced, wide-ranging environment with changing deadlines.
You also have the ability to work with stakeholders in various time zones from Europe to Australia.
Preferred qualifications for the position include knowledge of building Home Entertainment products, solid understanding of NetSuite, BI Reporting, and/or SAP, and a passion for entertainment, animation, Japanese Anime, and pop culture. Additionally, if you are proficient in Japanese, French, and/or German languages, it would be considered a plus!
A day in the life of our Operations and Print Production Manager:
- Handling the North American and Global release schedule in conjunction with Sales and Product Management teams, ensuring workability and timing are met to expectation
- Handle the Limited and Collector’s Edition SKU product development operations with internal team members and external print partners to develop configurations that meet the creative team’s visions while maintaining financial margins for profitability, timelines, and updates to licensor approval
- Work with print partners to develop and produce premium pack-ins for new releases including but not limited to: bound art books, calendars, art cards, keychains, character stickers, embroidered patches, and enamel pins
- Manage the BOM (Bill of Materials) process with the plant for all SKUs to ensure clear instructions are developed for each SKU build in accordance with the vision of the Creative and Product Management teams, for accuracy and in-territory standards and specifications
- Lead finished goods and component inventory control with the warehouses, ensuring inventory levels are prepared to meet ongoing catalog replenishment and promotional activities
- Advise on Operational Risk of projects based on material asset delivery, print production, or approval delays
- Own the new release SKU allocation process for Limited and Collector’s editions to ensure appropriate order volume fulfillment by retail account
- Handle monthly financial true ups on dry goods expenses
- Manage the Operations team of 4 to ensure responsibilities are met to schedule and accuracy
