STRATEGIC BUSINESS UNIT DESCRIPTION  

CIBC US Region is focused on deepening client relationships by delivering a full range of financial products and services to clients in the US RegionThe group provides business strategy and integrated financial services to clients. Being in line with CIBC’s core purpose: to help make our client’s ambitions a reality, the CIBC US offer focuses on integrated relationship management, where Investment Management Trust, Fiduciary, Asset Management, and Wealth Strategies teams work together to deliver customized financial solutions. In addition, CIBC US also offer Commercial Banking, Commercial Real Estate Financing and Community Banking solutions to clients. 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES  

  • The US Business PMO is comprised of project delivery teams (PMs & BAs) and the People Change Management team.

  • Provide leadership to the US Business PMO ensuring alignment with CIBC's strategic goals and risk management practices regarding change risk governance

  • Provide oversight, direction and guidance to the PMO serving as a point of escalation, provider of ideas and solutions, relationship builder, driver of execution, etc.

  • Be a thought leader on project management, stakeholder management and change management frameworks to ensure CIBC maintains leading practice across a rapidly changing industry and regulatory environment

  • Represent the US Region on the Enterprise Project Delivery council

  • Maintain connectivity with the Enterprise People Change Management office ensuring the US Region's capabilities continue to mature.

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL RELATIONSHIPS (Legal, Compliance, External, etc.): 

  • Be the liaison between business units, technology teams, and support teams.
