BUSINESS UNIT

Hotel Account Managers are part of the Enterprise Solutions Business Unit and report to the Director of Procurement Consulting and Supplier Solutions.

Hotel Account Manager

We are looking for a Hotel Account Manager (all genders) who acts as an ambassador for HRS in the managed sale area.

In the responsible position of Hotel Account Manager, the future position holder is responsible for both the corporate hotel program optimisation (bookability & compliance of the hotel program, increase of corporate business) and the analysis and reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for key hotel partners across Australasia. 
As Hotel Account Manager you take on the responsibility to plan, implement and execute strategies and initiatives with your hotel partner and at the same time elevate and boost our revenue streams. 
The position is considered as an important interface between the requirements and needs of our corporate customers and hotel partners. You collaborate closely with the enterprise and procurement department to achieve an outstanding customer experience.
As direct report to the Director of Procurement Consulting and Supplier Solutions you’ll hold an important role managing and developing key hotel partner relationships.

CHALLENGE

•    Responsible for owning hotel relationships with relevant HRS properties in line with customer’s interest 
•    Pitching general HRS value proposition and detailed Procurement and Payment value proposition to hoteliers, ensuring compliance with Lodging as a Service SLAs 
•    Prepare and carry out regular data-driven business reviews 
•    Extract, analyse and interpret data from different sources to help hotel partner understand how platform products can help them achieve their goals 
•    Strategic and Consultative upselling along HRS 5S Framework 
•    HRS Consortia rate contracting and performance reviews 
•    Outstanding ability to communicate with key stakeholders at our hotel partners (by phone, email and at times in person to understand their needs), building and nurturing relationships to facilitate targeted sales services 
•    Complete administrative tasks, such as processing and recording sales processes (CRM) 
•    HAM's are a trusted advisor and trainer to hotel partners on HRS systems and applications 
•    Supporting inbound requests from our hotel partners related to HRS LaaS Solutions & general administration 
•    As owner of the strategic element of the hotel relationship, HAM's are brought onboard in case of escalations on topics outside the remit (e.g., outstanding debt collection, booking issue escalations) 
•    Technical onboarding and training of new hotel partners to provide an easy and fast go-to-market solution 
•    Support sign-up of HRS labelling, classifications, plus Corporate RFP submission  

KEY INTERACTIONS

FOR THIS EXCITING MISSION YOU ARE EQUIPPED WITH...

•    A commercial education, preferably in the travel industry, or a degree is an advantage  
•    Experience in a relevant area of solution selling (B2B a plus) 
•    A commercially driven personality who is also data minded, with strong analytical acumen 
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to deliver presentations to executive level audiences 
•    Desirable to have a strong hotel network, understanding both the connectivity and the hotel distribution lands
