Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Maintenance Janitor 1 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Iuka, MS.

Job Duties :

• Maintains premises, rest and working areas of offices and industrial buildings in clean and orderly condition.
• Performs a combination of dusting furniture, walls, fixtures, or equipment; sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, waxing, or buffing floors; removing refuse; polishing furniture, fixtures, or trimmings; providing janitorial supplies; and cleaning lavatories, showers, or rest rooms.
• Cleaning Epoxy, linoleum, tile and other floor surfaces
• Shampooing rugs and carpets
• Emptying trash cans
• Changing air filters and cleaning vents
• Dusting disinfecting all surfaces.
• Waxing floors
• Ordering new cleaning supplies as needed
• Washing windows
• Maintaining a thorough inventory
• Using equipment, commercial vacuums, floor buffers and carpet cleaners
• Collecting and taking out trash and recycling
• Pressure washing walkways.
• Other janitorial duties

Basic Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent with related experience
• Ability to move and position objects weighing 40lbs or more
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance​
• Ability to work C- Shift (Friday - Sunday, 07:00-19:30)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active DoD Secret Clearance​
• Working knowledge of general aspects of the job
• Ability to perform routine work with detailed instructions given for new activities or special assignments

Salary Range: $31,200.00 - $44,300.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
