Job Description

We are looking for an intern (m/f/diverse) for at least 6 months at our Ulm location in the field of hardware development of control units for assisted driving (ADAS Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) from October 2025.

Main Tasks include:

› Support of the development team in various tasks (current day-to-day business)

› Development of hardware solutions for electronic control units (ECUs) for level 4 automated driving systems

› Working with Linux based systems (flashing, troubleshooting of existing electrical designs)

Qualifications

Student (m/f/diverse) in the field of electrical engineering, mechatronics, automotive engineering, or comparable courses of study

› Familiarity with electronic lab equipment such as oscilloscope, multimeter, and soldering station

› First experience with analog and digital circuit design (e.g., through coursework or projects)

› Practical experience in the field of hardware development is desirable

› Programming knowledge is a plus (e.g., Python, C/C++, or embedded systems)

› Confident handling of MS Office programs

› Good knowledge of German and very good written and spoken English skills

› Interest in working in an international team

› Quick comprehension, analytical thinking, creativity, independent work, high level of commitment and

organizational skills both in a team and in independent tasks
