Ground Maintenance

Chief Ethanol Fuels is seeking a candidate to fill our Ground Maintenance position. This position will be responsible for landscape and maintaining grounds of property including, but not limited to, lawns, gardens, and driveways. Job Responsibilities:  

• Mow or edge lawns, using power mowers or edgers.
• Care for established landscaping by weeding, mulching, or trimming or edging flowerbeds , walks, or walls.
• Use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning shears , hedge and bush trimmers.
• Prune or trim trees, shrubs, and plants to ensure aesthetic appeal and health.
• See to the proper upkeep of sidewalks, driveways, and parking lots by sweeping, pressure washing, and cleaning debris.
• Gather and remove trash.
• Daily inspections, cleaning, and maintaining the mowing equipment, and notifying maintenance of any mechanical issues if they should arise

Qualifications and Skill Requirements: 

• Must posses knowledge of methods, materials, and equipment used in planting, cultivating, and trimming a variety of plants, trees, shrubs, and grasses.
• At least one year of experience in grounds keeping preferred but not required. 
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
