Strategic Staffing - 8th Grade Science Teacher

JOB SUMMARY: Under general supervision, a math teacher plans, organizes, and implements an appropriate instructional program in an identified school, and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic goals by creating a classroom environment that is conducive to learning, and appropriate to the maturity and interest of students. This position exists under a strategic staffing initiative and receives an initial $7500 sign-on bonus and another $7500 bonus in June of year one.  In October of year two the teacher will receive another $7500 bonus.  If the teacher attained met or exceeded growth in year one, as identified in EVAAS, s/he will receive another $7500 bonus in June of year two. This position has the potential to earn an additional $30,000 over a two-year span if all requirements are met.
