Senior Manager Responsible Sourcing

We are looking for a Senior Responsible Sourcing manager to lead the implementation of our global responsible sourcing program and team. </p> <p> </p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>The Senior Responsible Sourcing manager leads responsible sourcing initiatives, works closely with the global procurement team to ensure that our suppliers meet Corbion's requirements, is a key member of the Net zero core team and provides support to the different business units and functions on sustainability topics. The Senior Responsible Sourcing manager leads a team of currently 2 Sustainability specialists focused on Responsible sourcing. Key accountabilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Lead the implementation of Corbion's responsible sourcing and net zero supplier initiatives, including engagement with stakeholders and suppliers, development of policies, supplier assessments, supplier audits and tracking of supplier sustainability performance using questionnaires and tools such as Sedex and RepRisk.</li> <li>Lead the responsible sourcing team. Maintain a work climate that attracts, retains and motivates employees by recruiting, training, developing, supervising, and guiding top qualified employees.</li> <li>Engage key stakeholders outside the company, including strategic customers, shareholders, suppliers, international authorities, relevant partnerships, industry associations multi-stakeholder organizations and NGOs. Represent Corbion in advisory committees and working groups.</li> <li>Be a sustainability champion and engage employees in our sustainability ambitions through workshops and other engagement activities.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>About you</p> <p>In addition to a passion for sustainability and strong communication skills, a successful candidate for the position of Senior Responsible Sourcing Specialist will have the following qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in sustainability, sustainable agriculture or similar. Master's Degree preferred. </li> <li>Minimum of 5 years’ experience in supply chain issues and different sourcing strategies.</li> <li>Experience with sustainable agriculture/regenerative agriculture and human rights preferred.</li> <li>Ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders.</li> <li>Ability to develop key messages for internal and external communication. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
