Security Officer - (Part-Time)

JOB SUMMARY:

The Security department is charged with creating and maintaining a safe environment for all of Horseshoe Baltimore’s guests and employees. 

JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Enforces company security/safety regulations.
• Guards transfer of money and chips from Change Booth to Main Cage.
• Performs all security/safety related duties.
• Represents company and its property to ensure all Casino regulations are adhered to at all times.
• Consistently demonstrates superior customer service skills by displaying outlined service behaviors.
• Is ready to serve and is informed of daily information; builds relationships by greeting guests with a warm, friendly verbal greeting.
• Anticipates needs and provides fast, flawless service.
• Checks for satisfaction and effectively resolves service breakdowns when they exist.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 21 years of age
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift
• Must present a well-groomed appearance
• Must be able to work independently
• Must be able to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time
• Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions, when handling customer and employee conflicts
• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must possess the ability to interact in a professional manner with the general public
