About the role

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a Dedicated Commercial Account team.
  • Serve as the local Auto Claims site leader and collaborate with other lines of business.
  • Oversee the team's activities and ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the team.
  • Manage commercial auto claims processes and workflows.
  • Resolve complex and high-value claims issues and disputes.
  • Implement best practices and drive continuous improvement in claims operations.
  • Serve as a liaison with internal stakeholders, including Underwriting and Product teams.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders, such as clients, brokers, and regulatory agencies.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics to drive operational efficiency and quality.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the team's skills and knowledge.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and developments in commercial auto claims.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of insurance claims or related field experience.
  • Experience in commercial auto claims is required.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service orientation.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry guidelines.
  • Ability to effectively manage a team and drive operational excellence.
  • Auto physical damage and technical claims experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in claims management systems and technology.
  • This position requires some travel (25% or less).
