About our Team:
The FedRAMP (Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program) Team
is focused on analytics and security monitoring within Azure cloud environments. The team is responsible for monitoring and scanning the security posture of the FedRAMP boundary, which includes all Azure cloud subscriptions. The team coordinates with control owners (development, database, infrastructure teams) to ensure vulnerabilities identified in reports are fixed within FedRAMP-mandated timelines
About the Role:
This position will analyze risks and help operate the enterprise security program. The position requires strong technical skill, to execute security processes with minimal guidance and help achieve operational efficiencies therein. Other responsibilities include handling service requests from the Business and Technology teams, analyzing/validating the requirements, defining the access rules, scripting the changes, and providing troubleshooting support related to any access issues. The individual will assist with reviewing existing tools, applications, and processes to help strengthen and optimize current capabilities, as well as identifying any gaps or technical solutions to further enhance the team’s effectiveness
Requirements:
Extensive years of IT security experience
BS Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience required
Licensing/certification required (at least one of the following): CISSP, CISM, SANS, GIAC (or related), ethical hacking/penetration tester certification, and/or security risk assessment certification
Strong understanding of security environments, compliance, governance, and industry standards.
Proven ability to analyze threats, assess vulnerabilities, and implement effective security programs.
Solid project management and problem-solving skills, including installation and troubleshooting in web-based environments.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in client engagement and survey development.
Responsibilities:
Promote and support compliance initiatives by authoring and enforcing security policies.
Analyze and respond to security events, collaborating with peers to protect company assets.
Design and implement security solutions to address emerging threats and compliance needs.
Develop and manage security programs, including procedures, guidelines, and performance metrics.
Communicate across departments to raise security awareness and share risk-related updates.
Evaluate and improve security programs to enhance maturity and operational efficiency.
