You’ll be responsible for knowing and acting in accordance with Barrett’s vision to WOW our customers, partners, and fellow employees with every interaction.


The Position:
The Maintenance Worker, reporting to the Operations Manager (or Assistant Operations Manager or Safety and Facility Manager based on location), will be responsible for maintaining the buildings and grounds in top condition to ensure full and productive use of the facility.
This shift works 7:00am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday.
The compensation range for this role is $20-$25/hour.
Your Day-to-Day:
• Performs general cleaning duties in the facility, including but not limited to dusting, mopping, etc.
• Cleans dock doors
• Conducts minor repairs and maintenance tasks such as replacing light fixtures, unclogging pipes.
• Performs limited grounds maintenance such as collecting trash, mowing and trimming lawns and hedges.
• Checks and replaces pest stations
• Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures.
• Performs cleanup of area when accident or spillage of product occurs.
• Escalates major issues to facility management
• Completes daily work assignments in a timely and accurate manner.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring to the Table:
• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience preferred in a similar role.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English (Bilingual Spanish/English skills preferred)
• Ability to work without direct supervision consisting of working off a daily punch list of multiple repetitive tasks.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and the ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
