Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Experienced or Senior Component Test Support Engineer to join the Supply Chain Engineering team in Seattle, WA.
As a Component Test Support Engineer, you will be applying engineering technical standards, principles, and techniques to ensure compliance of supplier component testing and automated systems testing data deliverables. You will coordinate with suppliers to verify detailed test procedures, instrumentation, and configuration definition.

Our team is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Experienced (Level 3) and Senior (Level 4) Component Test Support Engineers.
Position Responsibilities:
Reviews and evaluates component testing and automated systems testing procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and requirements.
Defines, evaluates and maintains engineering supportability, operability and maintainability requirements for supplier designed and built components.
Evaluates supplier test plans and assist suppliers in developing engineering test methodologies.
Analyzes testing procedures and documentation to identify any gaps or areas for improvement.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand testing objectives.
Provides feedback and recommendations to improve the clarity, effectiveness, and efficiency of testing procedures.
Ensures that testing procedures are aligned with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
Collaborates with stakeholders to address any identified issues or concerns and propose solutions.
Participates in the development and implementation of standardized testing processes and methodologies.
Stays up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to component testing and automated systems testing.
Collaborates with stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of testing procedures and achieve desired outcomes.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Seattle, WA.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering.
3+ years of experience in aviation related or aircraft maintenance disciplines.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (supply chain, aviation related or aircraft maintenance disciplines).
3+ years of experience in performing integration and testing on avionics sub-systems.
Familiarity with relevant testing methodologies and tools.
Typical Education/Experience:
Experienced (Level 3):
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Senior (Level 4):
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
