Quality Management System Specialist

NOV is hiring a Quality Specialist in Conroe, TX. This position provides administrative support to implement and maintain QHSE management systems at the WSS Conroe, Larose, and Lake Arthur facilities including, but not limited to, documentation control, regulatory compliance management, best practice implementation, internal auditing, and continuous improvement activities.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

• Work with members of management and employees to maintain and improve the certified Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental Management Systems.
• Successful completion of all necessary training (Auditor training for ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018) and any other training deemed necessary for effective execution of management system tasks.
• Conduct necessary actions to support compliance and certifications of the Management Systems. 
• Assist the Quality Manager with HSE and Quality programs as required.
• Assist with audit preparation as needed. (Internal, external, 3rd party).
• Conduct audits (travel to other locations may be required).
• Maintain NOV acceptable driving record.
• Assist in maintaining Quality & HSE Management System documents.
• Create and monitor emails as needed.
• Take meeting notes as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Must follow and enforce all safety and environmental policies and programs; must be able to use personal safety devices as required by company policy; report any activities that could be detrimental to the safety and/or the loss of productivity; report any injuries when they occur.
