We’re Series C, venture-backed by SignalFire, Rakuten Ventures, Y Combinator, HubSpot, and BAM Elevate. We offer remote work as the default option in the United States in California, Colorado, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah and Washington. As well as in the UK and Singapore - with plans to expand the locations we support in the future. Some roles are hybrid roles and will be listed as such. We have offices in San Mateo, CA and London, UK, and offer flex seating options for employees to work together in-person where we don't have offices. Hiring in Singapore is done in partnership with a local PEO.

OneSignal has a lot of the great tech startup qualities you'd expect, but we don't stop there. Our massive scale and small team, emphasis on healthy life balance and kindness in all our interactions, and focus on ownership and personal growth make OneSignal a uniquely great place to work.

As Director of Product Marketing at OneSignal, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how millions of marketers and developers around the world discover, adopt, and succeed with our customer engagement platform. You will own the vision and execution for our product marketing function—crafting compelling positioning, enabling go-to-market success, and deeply understanding our global audience across industries and channels. This is initially a hands-on individual contributor role where you will personally drive high-impact initiatives, with the potential to build and lead a team as we scale.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and execute OneSignal’s overall product marketing vision, starting as an individual contributor while establishing the foundation for a future high-performing team.
  • Own end-to-end product launch strategy and execution for new products and features, creating compelling messaging, positioning, and enablement materials that resonate with global audiences
  • Lead competitive intelligence, customer research, and market analysis to identify growth opportunities, inform product roadmap decisions, and optimize positioning strategies
  • Collaborate with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to align on strategic priorities, drive customer-centric decisions, and optimize demand generation efforts
  • Drive improvements in customer acquisition, product adoption, retention, and expansion revenue through strategic pricing, packaging, onboarding optimization, and upsell initiatives
  • Establish OneSignal's market positioning through strategic content, industry partnerships, executive communications, and key customer/influencer relationships
  • Establish frameworks for measuring product marketing effectiveness and ROI, providing executive-level reporting on performance and market opportunities

What You'll Bring:

  • 8+ years of product marketing experience with at least 3+ years in a senior leadership role or strategic IC role
  • Proven track record in B2B SaaS or developer tools companies, preferably with Product Led Growth models
  • Experience building and scaling product marketing teams and/or driving the function in a strategic role
  • Deep expertise in go-to-market strategy, product launches, and cross-functional project management
  • A Get Stuff Done mindset with the ability to dive into the details, untangle challenges, and drive solutions to completion
  • A second nature to translate complex technology into clear, compelling use cases that resonate with both marketers and developers
  • Strong background working with global customer bases and PLG/freemium business models

The New York and California base salary for this full time position is between $190,000 to $250,000. Your exact starting salary is determined by a number of factors such as your experience, skills, and qualifications. In addition to base salary, we also offer a competitive equity program and comprehensive and inclusive benefits.
