Pratt & Whitney has an immediate onsite opportunity within the Military Engines Program Financial Support (PFS) Organization for a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager located onsite at our East Hartford, Connecticut campus location.
What You Will Do:
This new opportunity exists within the Military Engines Program Financial Support (PFS) Organization in support of Military Development Programs (MDP).
Our position provides the candidate with a unique and challenging opportunity to interface and work closely with a core integrated program team which includes the Program Management Office, Contracts/Legal, Engineering, Pricing, other Finance departments, and external customers.
This position will involve management of Military Development Programs including proposals, negotiations, contract execution, and closure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Plan Setting.
- Monthly Sales/COS/Margin Reporting and Forecasting.
- Detailed Variance Analysis.
- Risk & Opportunity Analysis.
- Inventory/Orders/Deliveries tracking.
- Capital/Investment Tracking.
- Business Case Modeling.
- Program Business Support (IPMT/MPR/Customer meetings/MAM’s).
- External customer financial reporting (Contract Funds Status Report, Letters of Funding).
- Comprehensive Estimate at Completion (EAC) analysis.
- Proposal/Rough Order of Magnitude/Not to exceed support and negotiations.
- Billing/Accounts receivable reconciliations and collections.
- Teaming closely with Program Office, Contracts, Supply Chain, and Pricing departments.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and 8+ years of experience in accounting or finance; OR an advanced degree in accounting or finance and 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance.
- SAP and Microsoft office proficiency required.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Candidate must either hold a current US DoD clearance or be able to obtain and maintain a clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines (Contracts, PMO, Engineering, etc) in proposal development and program execution.
- Strong attention to detail, quality, and accuracy.
- Experience with Program Controls, FP&A, or EVMS finance.
- Independent, motivated and able to manage multiple priorities and influence in a matrix organization.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Able to meet critical deadlines and develop and apply solutions and process improvement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in OneStream software.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
