Database Administrators (All Levels)

<p><strong>ManpowerGroup Greece</strong>, on behalf of its client, a company that provides Managed and IT Services in Enterprise clients, is seeking for <strong>Database Administrators</strong></p><p>Workplace Location: Athens, Remote OR Clients’ location </p><p><strong>What you will be doing:</strong> </p><p>You will be part of the Engineering team and you be involved in the successful delivery of the company’s projects to Enterprise clients </p><p><strong>More specifically you will:</strong> </p><ul> <li>Work collaboratively with different teams to administer the build out and support of OracleDB, Microsoft SQL, PostgreSQL, Sybase, and MySQL databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production system </li> <li>Escalate to certain suppliers on customer’s behalf to try to resolve issues outside of our control, such as bug fix requests. </li> <li>Communicate with the customer through formal correspondence </li> </ul><ul> <li>Ensure compliance with all technical specifications </li> <li>Perform database health monitoring, exports, and imports </li> <li>Organize and provide daily operations and checks </li> <li>Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation in support of production issues </li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul> <li>Bachelor’s Degree in computer science preferred </li> <li>Experience in DB Admin tasks in any Database preferably OracleDB, Microsoft SQL and PostgreSQL</li> <li><strong>Flexibility to work in shifts</strong></li> </ul><ul> <li>Ability to manage multiple competing tasks simultaneously and complete work within allocated timeframes </li> <li>Team player with problem-solving skills </li> <li>Ability to learn, adapt, communicate, and organize   </li> <li>Customer focused with attention to detail </li> <li>Excellent communication and writing skills in English </li> </ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>It will be nice to have:</strong></p><ul> <li>Experience in Sybase, and MySQL</li> <li>Experience in SQL DDL, DML, and PL/SQL coding skills</li> </ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul> <li>Competitive Salary and benefits </li> <li>Prospects of development </li> <li>Continuous education </li> <li>Remote work options </li> </ul>
