Southern Glazer’s offers a competitive compensation package with expected first year total earnings between $69400 - $85000 / year including bonus. This salary range is an average range for this position. In determining a final offer, the company will evaluate a specific candidate's education, skills and experience and will make an offer appropriately.

Overview

The Chain Account Specialist serves as the local liaison for chain customers and ensures local execution and enables effective partnership between the company (SGWS), chain customers, and supplier partners.  This role is the primary contact for any local issues and resolves or escalates as appropriate.  The Chain Account Specialist focuses on operational execution, pricing implementation, inventory management, and customer requests to ensure seamless operations.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Establish relationships at the local level to influence buying patterns, buy rates and quantities to drive sales volume
  • Manage inventory with trade development partners and forecast buy rates including special and holiday packs with limited availability
  • Manage within the system to obtain optimal customer margin rates and customer price points working with pricing and inventory
  • Monitor and implement pricing changes, promotional pricing, and discount management across chain accounts
  • Provide market information and competitive intelligence to account teams regarding pricing, merchandising, and market trends
  • Coordinate inventory management activities to include stock level monitoring, replenishment planning, and allocation support
  • Manage forecasting processes by providing data inputs, tracking performance against projections, identifying variance drivers, and recommending changes to achieve goals
  • Partner with National, Regional, and Corporate accounts teams to ensure fast and effective execution of initiatives and compliance requirements
  • Track and report sales performance, inventory turns, and program effectiveness on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis

Additional Primary Responsibilities

  • Coordinate administrative aspects of chain sales calls, account meetings, and account visits including logistics and follow-up documentation
  • Prepare and distribute reports to chain account leadership and internal stakeholders
  • Support chain account promotional events through administrative coordination and execution tracking
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit compliance and customer reporting requirements
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Able to analyze and understand data and information
  • Able to leverage SGWS technology to perform duties and responsibilities
