As an Airport Security Officer: Full Time Unarmed Route Driver in Kahului, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a government airport location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to travelers, staff, and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
• 1+ years of Security Experience
• 21+ years of age

• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently

• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport terminals, parking areas, perimeter locations, roadways, and other assigned areas to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, check credentials as assigned, and report unauthorized entry attempts, suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns through established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with airport operations and emergency personnel as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and daily activity documentation while maintaining a professional presence at this government location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
