Sr. Associate, Conversational AI Platform Product Delivery

The Chase Conversational AI product area is engaged in creating sophisticated natural language based Virtual Assistant to enable convenient and friction-less customer experiences in the Chase mobile app, chase.com and Voice channel. This role will be key in building the Conversational AI platform for the Chase Digital Assistant product. The role collaborates with product owners both within and outside of the team, designers, engineering leads and analytics experts to develop a robust cloud based platform with the ability to federate the build out of conversational experiences across the enterprise.
Job Summary
As a Sr. Associate, Conversational AI Platform Product Delivery within the Chase Conversational AI product area, you will be key in building the Conversational AI platform for the Chase Digital Assistant product. You will collaborate with product owners, designers, engineering leads, and analytics experts to develop a robust cloud-based platform. Your role will require a quick understanding of Chase architecture for Conversational Artificial Intelligence platform and all the interconnected software components. You will need experience working with Natural Language Platforms and Machine learning technologies. Your motivation and promote to lead initiatives through completion, ensuring all aspects of the platform are delivered with a high degree of quality and across an efficient timeline, will be crucial for this role.
The ideal team member will lead the delivery work of one or two scrum teams and give guidance and direction to the team on the product requirements, as well as collaborate and motivate the team. The product person will partner closely with Product Managers to translate initiatives into epics and stories using agile methodologies and controls. They will collaborate across teams, functions, and disciplines to ensure continual progress and removal of impediments to deliver with a high degree of quality and efficiency. They also manage production defects and dependencies between Product Managers team as well as outside dependencies (DSTs).
Job Responsibilities
- Independently manage large, complex delivery projects with an eye toward efficiency and overall process improvement
- Work in close partnership with Product Manager to translate initiatives into epics, stories and tasks to define the roadmap and timelines
- Develop concise user stories and process flows and maintain consistency and adherence to business readiness and controls
- Actively looks to identify impediments early, resolve those impediments, and escalate when needed
- Manage and tracking of DSTs outside the team as well as cross team/quad dependencies
Lead a collaborative, dynamic planning process– prioritizing the work that needs to be done against the quarterly goals and capacity of the team - Attend daily scrum stand-ups and other agile ceremonies to help answer questions and remove impediments
- Provides proactive visibility and effectively communicates delivery targets, commitments and progress
- Creates a climate in which people want to do their best; motivates and empowers others by inviting input from each person and sharing ownership and visibility
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 2+ years of product management or relevant experience as well as record of individual technical achievement
- 2+ years of experience with agile product development and software delivery lifecycle
- Proven experience with the Agile product delivery and supporting tools (i.e. JIRA, Confluence)
- Self-driven with ability to work independently and motivate a team, with minimal supervision
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 2+ years of technical acumen as a product owner is desired
