<p>We are seeking an experienced and passionate<strong> Senior SysOps Engineer</strong> who is proficient in Cloud computing, system design and management, and DevOps methodologies.</p> <p><strong>Context:</strong></p> <ul><li>Position based in France</li><li>100% remote work</li><li>Competitive salary</li><li><strong>Prerequisites:</strong><p></p><ul><li>Minimum of 5 years of experience as a SysOps</li><li>Proficient in AWS</li><li>Fluent in English (written and spoken)</li><li>Access to a co-working space or comfortable with full-time remote work</li><li>Ability to adjust to local working hours</li></ul></li></ul> <p><strong>Your missions:</strong></p> <ul><li>Build, deploy, manage, and evolve Cloud computing infrastructure</li><li>Define standards and best practices in your field</li><li>Work closely with various teams to ensure best practices are applied</li><li>Ensure the reliability, flexibility, scalability, and security of maintained platforms</li><li>Contribute to the prevention and investigation of production issues</li></ul> <p><strong>Required skills:</strong></p> <ul><li>Expertise in Amazon Web Services (EC2, RDS, S3, etc.)</li><li>Proficient in Docker</li><li>Programming experience, ideally in Python</li><li>Skilled in IaaC, preference for CloudFormation</li><li>Proficient in CI/CD (Git, Gitlab, Jenkins)</li><li>Expert in Linux, preference for Amazon Linux or similar</li><li>Familiar with database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB</li><li>Proficient in log management with Elasticsearch and fluentbit/fluentd/logstash</li><li>Solid understanding of distributed systems, APIs, and cloud computing models</li><li>Good knowledge of security standards and best practices, modern methods of authentication and authorization</li></ul> <p><strong>Soft skills:</strong></p> <ul><li>Independent and motivated, with a strong work ethic and a passion for problem-solving</li><li>Proficiency in English is essential</li><li>Familiarity with Jira and Confluence is a plus</li><li>Experience working within an international team is preferable</li></ul> <p>If you are passionate about large-scale technical challenges, this position is for you.
