The Vice President of Quality and Integrated Supply Chain will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless integration of sourcing strategies, quality assurance, and supply chain management. This executive leader will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to optimize the sourcing of materials, maintain the highest quality standards, and ensure an efficient and reliable supply chain.

The Vice President of Quality and Integrated Supply Chain will…

  • Strategic Sourcing:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive sourcing strategies to support the company’s growth and operational goals.
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors to ensure the best value and quality.
    • Develop and meet or exceed sourcing cost objectives
  • Quality Management:
    • Oversee the development and implementation of quality assurance programs to meet industry standards and customer expectations.
    • Drive continuous improvement in quality processes and systems to enhance product reliability and performance.
    • Maintain applicable industry certifications (ISO, AS, NADCAP, etc.)
  • Supply Chain Optimization:
    • Design and implement supply chain strategies that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure timely delivery of materials.
    • Manage inventory levels to optimize cash flow and minimize waste.
    • Administer and optimize product delivery and transportation
  • Leadership and Team Development:
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of sourcing, quality, and supply chain professionals.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, continuous improvement, and excellence across all teams.
  • Performance Monitoring:
    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve sourcing, quality, and supply chain performance.
    • Provide regular reports and updates to the executive leadership team on performance metrics and improvement initiatives.
  • Supplier Relationship Management:
    • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers to ensure alignment with the company’s quality and supply chain objectives.
    • Conduct regular supplier evaluations and audits to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Risk Management:
    • Identify and mitigate risks in the sourcing and supply chain processes to ensure business continuity.
    • Develop contingency plans to address potential disruptions in the supply chain.
    • Establish key indicators for the health of the supply chain
  • Facilities Management
    • Develop and implement facilities strategy.
  • Innovation and Technology Integration:
    • Leverage new technologies and innovations to improve sourcing, quality, and supply chain processes.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements to keep the company at the forefront of supply chain management.
  • Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements for the Vice President of Quality and Integrated Supply Chain

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field and at least 10 years of experience; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Vice President or senior leader in sourcing, quality, and supply chain management, preferably in the specialty materials or manufacturing industry.  Preference for individuals with experience with company(s) manufacturing critical quality products (i.e., “
